PIPEFITTER The Pipefitter lays out piping systems for their construction and installation; supporting pre-fabricated items; assembling equipment and appurtenances (both new and existing); and maintaining the systems and equipment. Systems that a pipefitter works on may include; steam, condensation, water, drain lines, air, gas, chemical, hydraulic, lubrication, heating and refrigeration, and process piping. Pipefitters work in industrial, chemical, power, and wastewater treatment plants; as well as refineries, hospitals, and most commercial and residential buildings. |

Length
of Apprenticeship:
Five (5) Years – Minimum of 1,250 classroom hours |

*1st
year– Apprentices work Monday – Friday with a union contractor and
attend school
on Saturdays. |

Requirements: *$20.00 non-refundable application fee for each application (cash or money order). *Copy of birth certificate. *Copy of high school diploma or a G.E.D. certificate with G.E.D. scores. *Official copy of high school transcript. *Valid driver's license. |

Experience: (Helpful,
